Introducing Lehigh Valley Chiropractor
Dr. Alan H. Kunkel, Jr.

Simply put, I was a skeptic...for about eight months my mother suffered with severe arm pain that would awaken her from sleep at night. She would walk the floor at night with severe pain holding her arm against her body with her other hand trying to get relief. She went to a chiropractor who, without the use of drugs, injections, or surgery, helped my mom regain complete relief from this condition. At that time I was 13 years old and decided to become a chiropractor.
I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. This is the birth place of chiropractic. It is the first and largest college of chiropractic in the world. The chiropractic philosophy at Palmer was second to none. Chiropractic philosophy is what separates us from other healing arts. The classes that I found most challenging and valuable were Neurophysiology and Neurology because this helped us to understand what controls the function of the human body and how our nervous system works on a cellular level.
Here at Wind Gap Chiropractic Center, we are attempting to educate our patients about natural health and how keeping the nervous system free from interference allows their bodies to function as close as possible to 100%. Seeing women who have been unable to have children get pregnant as a result of chiropractic adjustments correcting interference to the nervous system that controls their reproductive system. Another especially moving moment was when a female patient was brought to our office having a Grand Mal Epileptic Seizure and when she was adjusted the seizure immediately stopped.
I get adjusted every week and as a result during my first 31 years of practice I have only missed 6 days due to illness. My family gets adjusted at least once a week if not more. My daughter received her first adjustment before she was 24 hours old. There are very few things that are more important to me than keeping my spine subluxation free and the spines' of my loved ones. After 33 years of practice there is still nothing that I would rather do than adjust people and watch them regain good health.
I consider myself an excellent listener and hope I get the opportunity to meet you in person and discuss your specific health challenge. Give our office a call or email me with the link below.
